LA TENORIO started in Game Three, Joe Devance made his PBA 49th Governors’ Cup Finals debut, and Barangay Ginebra grabbed a 42-39 halftime lead over TNT on Sunday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The two veterans made instant impacts early in the game as Tenorio played his first significant minutes in the title series and Devance came off the bench at the 8:43 mark of the first quarter after sitting out the first two games of the finals.

The ploy seemed to work as Ginebra grabbed the halftime lead in essentially a must-win game to avoid falling into a 0-3 hole in the best-of-seven title series.
Tenorio scored seven points in 10 minutes and 50 seconds, while Devance saw action for eight minutes, providing starting center Japeth Aguilar ample time to rest in his first game since suffering a knee injury in the San Miguel semifinal series.

Justin Brownlee had eight points and six rebounds in the first half but has yet to hit a three in the first half. Maverick Ahammisi also had eight.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had 13 points, while Poy Erram added 10 in the first half. Calvin Oftana had nine points in the first half, all of which coming from threes to keep Game Three close.
