LA Tenorio gave his team a passing mark in Game Three of the PBA Philippine Cup finals.

But the Ginebra guard also knows an 'okay' game just won't cut it against a powerhouse team like San Miguel.

The reigning Governor's Cup champions were actually in control for much of the game, only to see the Beermen go on a 17-2 finishing kick to close out a 99-88 win on Wednesday night.

"Okay 'yung laro namin, pero it was not enough to beat San Miguel," Tenorio said after finishing with 16 points, five boards and five assists. "We really need to have a perfect game to beat SMB. Sobrang dami nilang firepower."

"Down the stretch, di kami nakapag-execute eh - defensively and offensively. I think that's the story of the game in the last three, four minutes," Tenorio added.

Ginebra's fiery point guard believes there weren't really any major adjustments on the part of San Miguel since it lost Game Two in overtime in Lucena City, saying Ginebra's failure to close out shooters each time the team ganged up on June Mar Fajardo that cost it the game.

"Wala naman masyado eh. Binigay pa rin nila yung bola kay JMF. Kami yung late - sa mga rotations," said the former Gilas Pilipinas guard. "Again, it all boiled down to the last minutes. Today, di lang kami nagkaroon ng chance para masungkit yung panalo."

That in mind, Tenorio said it's all about adjustments come Game Four on Friday.

"Execution on defense. Yun talaga yung kulang namin. Hindi na namin na contain si June Mar down the stretch. And we were in the penalty early in the game, so dun na nagka-problema."
