Veteran Itoy Esguerra and Paul Sorongon were earlier mentioned as part of Tenorio’s coaching staff along with new recruits Kirk Collier and Monch Gavieres.
Abarrientos has since been transferred to Barangay Ginebra, where he’s reunited with former mentor Tim Cone.

The former PBA MVP visited the Hotshots in their practice the other day where he gave a short pep talk to the team with Tenorio around.
Along with Abarrientos, former governor Rene Pardo likewise dropped by the Magnolia practice and was warmly welcomed by the team led by successor Jason Webb and long-time team manager Alvin Patrimonio.
A source told SPIN.ph though, that former coach Chito Victolero has yet to meet or talk to any member of the team.
