GINEBRA fans can’t wait for the Gin Kings to end their eight-year championship drought in the PBA, but none of them any longer than LA Tenorio.
The Gin Kings star point guard is hoping his team can finish off Meralco in Game Six of the Governors Cup Finals on Wednesday night, so he can focus on his daddy duties.
Tenorio’s wife, Chesca, is scheduled to give birth to their third son on Thursday.
“Hopefully on Wednesday, makuha na namin yun before lumabas yung pangatlo kong baby,” Tenorio said after their 92-81 win in Game Five.

Of course, Tenorio, who registered eight assists, seven points, and five boards, while committing no turnover in 32 minutes as a starter in Game Five, also wants to win the title for the fans.
And he hopes his new baby will bring good luck.
“I want to win a championship for Ginebra. I always pray na makuha na namin yun … and sana swerte talaga yung my third baby boy,” said Tenorio, whose first two boys are named Santi and Sian.
