LA Tenorio is the acknowledged "Ironman" in the PBA, and coach Tim Cone foresees the veteran guard yearning to play in Game 6 of the Commissioner’s Cup finals against the Bay Area Dragons.

Cone is not ruling Tenorio out on Wednesday when the Kings go for the kill against the embattled Dragons at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
But then again, health comes first and foremost, and the Ginebra mentor would rather assess the situation of the 38-year-old guard before the game and go from there.
“A game-time decision,” said Cone. “We really don’t know if he’ll be available.”
If there’s something that should ease the worry of the Kings, it appears it’s not a groin injury which Tenorio is nursing as earlier feared by Cone.
“It’s turning out to be more of an abdominal strain,” according to the Ginebra coach.
Not suiting up for the match though, meant Tenorio finally missing the first-ever game of his PBA career.
Since being selected no. 4 overall pick in the 2006 draft, the star playmaker out of Ateneo has played in a total of 736 consecutive games.
The never-say-die spirit in him could propel Tenorio to try and see if he’s ready to go, according to Cone.
“I imagine he will try to warm up at the game and we’ll decide then,” said the Ginebra coach.
