LA Revilla stuck to the positives as Mahindra wasted a third successive chance to clinch an outright twice-to-beat advantage in the PBA Governors’ Cup quarterfinals following an 86-83 loss to Meralco on Sunday night.

“Na-miss lang naman namin yung twice-to-beat advantage pero di naman namin masasabi na it's the worst situation for us because we're in the playoffs,” Revilla said. “Kung ano lang meron kami, we just have to live with it.”

The Enforcer, though, still have a shot at the incentive via a playoff that will be awarded if second-running Ginebra beats Phoenix, which currently sports an even 5-5 win-loss record, in their matchup.

But Revilla is hardly banking on the fate of other teams as he set his sights simply on the Enforcer’s postseason debut.

“If we need to beat the other team twice, so be it,” said Revilla, who had 12 points, four assists, four steals, and three boards in 35 minutes against the Bolts.

“We just have to stay together no matter what, manalo, matalo,” he added. “Kahit di mo man magustuhan yung result, that's just how it is. Hindi pa naman tapos ang conference.”
