PHOENIX had its own casualty on Wednesday after guard LA Revilla injured his right hand early in the team’s 74-72 win over TnT Katropa in the PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Revilla said he hurt the hand in the first quarter but made it clear it wasn't caused by any Katropa player.

“Natukod ko lang either sa floor or natamaan ng sapatos,” said the playmaker as he showed the injured hand. “May bumukol kasi dito sa bandang taas.”

The Phoenix guard went straight to St. Luke's hospital after the game to undergo an X-ray.

Revilla said the hand felt numb the moment he injured it.

“Kanina hindi ko na siya masara, ngayon naman hindi ko na completely magalaw,” said the former La Salle stalwart, who only saw action for four minutes before suffering the injury.

Even without him, the Fuel Masters went on to beat the Katropa, 74-72, in a game that saw Troy Rosario leave the game in the fourth quarter due to a bad fall.
