STANLEY Pringle will be out for the first two months of the PBA 50th Season Commissioner’s Cup after undergoing surgery during the offseason.
Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao said Pringle went under the knife last month after he sustained a right lateral meniscus tear during a preseason game that bothered him all conference long in the Philippine Cup.

Pringle is now in the first of a three-month recovery from surgery. He has been spotted walking in crutches, and has not played in the Elasto Painters tune-up games for the Comm’s Cup.

“Makakabalik siya in three months (after surgery). Halos nakaisang buwan na siya,” added Guiao.
“Siguro by April, makakabalik siya. Siguro in the middle of the eliminations.”
Guiao said RoS was actually managing Pringle’s minutes last conference due to the injury, with the 38-year-old later deciding to undergo surgery to repair the tear.
Pringle only played four games in his first conference with the Elasto Painters, and averaged 5.5 points and 2.3 assists during the all-Filipino.
