BARANGAY Ginebra has little time left to shake off the disappointing loss to NLEX on Friday night with Converge already waiting for the crowd favorites just two days later on Sunday in the continuation of the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The Kings and the FiberXers clash in the main game of a doubleheader at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, marking the first meeting between the two teams since Ginebra eliminated Converge in overtime of their do-or-die encounter for a seat in the Philippine Cup semifinals.

Coach Tim Cone is aware of the FiberXers’ bid to get even with the Kings that he’s putting behind the team’s 118-113 setback against the Road Warriors as quickly as possible.
“We’ve got a quick turnaround. We can’t worry about it,” said Cone of the Kings’ first loss in the conference after two games.
“We play Converge, we’ve got to be able to defend especially this conference with the big imports.”

Cone wasn't happy with how his team engaged the Road Warriors in a high-scoring game that saw import Justin Brownlee explode for a conference-high 46 points.
He believes they won’t be able to get past the FiberXers if they play the same way on defense.
“We just didn’t show with our defense (against NLEX). That’s the bottom line. We hope to be better the next time out,” Cone said.
A positive takeaway for the Kings was the fact they still have 10 more games to play in the conference, long enough for them to get their act together again.
“We’ve got to put it in perspective that it’s just the second game of the conference. Hopefully we’ll get better from there,” Cone said.
At the same time, Converge is also coming off a heartbreaking loss against San Miguel, 103-99, the team’s third straight as it fell to a 1-3 record.
