KIEFER Ravena proved he's indeed a cut above the rest in this year's PBA rookie class by topping most of the skills tests in the Draft Combine on Monday.
The former Ateneo Blue Eagles star showed he can indeed soar as he had the highest vertical leap at 39.5 inches. He flashed his speed by ruling the 3/4 court sprint in just 2.78 seconds and completed a hat-trick of awards by topping the lane agility drill.
Former La Salle standout Julian Sargent displayed his strength as he won the medicine ball throw, while Arelllano sniper Zach Nicholls rounded out the winners by topping the shuttle run.
In the max vertical leap, Ravena jumped higher than taller players in Sargent (39 inches), Jett Manuel (38.5) and Lervin Flores (38), as well as Biboy Enguio and Sydney Onwubere who ended up tied at 37.5 inches.
