THE mere sight of the list of players in the PBA dispersal pool is enough to excite the big bosses of Kia Motors and Blackwater Sports.
“This is an exciting pool,” said Blackwater owner Dioceldo Sy, adding the list which includes at least 36 names have “quality players” who can help him form a competitive team.

Columbian Autocar Corp. president Ginia Domingo is optimistic the bumper crop of talent in the dispersal pool will be more than enough to give Kia the opportunity to build a good team.
“We may not be able to build a champion team this year but with the roster that we can choose from, pwede naman kami lumaban. Hopefully we get the players we want during the dispersal draft,” Domingo said of the event set on July 18 at the PBA office in Libis, Quezon City.
The coaches of Kia got so excited they immediately called a meeting to discuss the list, Domingo added.
“We received the list from PBA yesterday afternoon and siyempre excited kami. Our team management and coaches met kaagad last night and found promising players,” added the amiable executive.
