NLEX guard Kevin Alas has been fined P10,000 by the PBA Commissioner's Office for his complaint against officiating in the wake of the Road Warriors' overtime loss to Phoenix last Friday.
Alas was called for a foul while trying to box out Phoenix's Mark Borboran during a rebound play late in overtime, denying NLEX a chance to go for the tying basket or the game winner.
NLEX went on to lose, 91-95, while the crucial call was widely criticized on social media sites.
Sought for comment by SPIN.ph after the game, Alas reiterated that he felt there was no foul in the play, saying, 'I felt it was a flop (by Borboran)."

NLEX management said it will appeal the decision of the Commissioner's Office.
Alas later tweeted an apology.
