KEVIN Alas is getting closer to a return after the NLEX guard attended the team's practice on Tuesday.
The team's official Twitter account @ArangkadaNLEX reported Alas is already cleared to participate in non-contact practice with the Road Warriors.
Alas is also expected to be allowed to be part of contact practices with NLEX in a month as his road to recovery continues.
Alas has been sidelined for months after sustaining another ACL tear in his right knee last February. The same knee also suffered the same injury that forced him to sit the entire 2018 season.
Photos by @ArangkadaNLEX on Tuesday showed Alas training and working out to strengthen his knee.
NLEX is off to a 3-0 start following the return of Kiefer Ravena from an 18-month Fiba sanction.
The Road Warriors have also strengthened their line-up, having acquired Poy Erram and Jericho Cruz during the time Alas was recovering from the injury.
