THE sophomore jinx may have very well caught up with Kemark Carino
The Terrafirma center suffered an ACL injury and will be out for a long period of time extending to next year’s PBA Season 50.
Head coach Raymond Tiongco disclosed the major injury that befell the former San Beda stalwart, a member of the All-Defensive and All-Rookie Teams last season.

The 6-foot-7 Carino suffered the injury during practice, according to Tiongco.
Carino is set for operation next week.
“Kaya hindi ninyo siya nakikita. Kala nga namin sprain lang pero nung nakita ng doctor, ACL nga raw,” said Tiongco. “Pag tingin sa MRI, punit.”
Carino has not played for the entire season-ending Philippine Cup, where Terrafirma absorbed its sixth straight loss Wednesday night following a 117-87 blowout at the hands of NLEX at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
His injury added further woes to the Dyip franchise, whose future remains hanging in the balance as negotiations for its possible sale are still ongoing with the Zamboanga Valientes.
