HIGHLY-touted Kascious Small-Martin was one of six aspirants stricken out of the final list of 122 names for the PBA Season 50 Draft.

The 6-foot-2 Fil-Canadian named after boxing great Cassius Clay (later Muhammad Ali) failed to secure his documents in time for Saturday’s deadline to determine the prospects eligible for Sunday’s proceedings at the Mall of Asia Music Hall.

Titan Management Group, which represents the 27-year-old Small-Martin, tried to produce his Philippine passport, but couldn’t make it in time..
"Sayang,” said TMG head PJ Pilares, who nonetheless is hopeful the guard from Brock University will be able to join next year’s draft.
Indeed, it was a missed opportunity for Small-Martin, who impressed several teams during the two-day Draft Combine at the Ynares Sports Arena playing for Team B-2 Magnolia.

Small-Martin is one of six players taken out from the initial list of 128 prospects who applied this season.
First to withdraw were Kareem Marcus Huntley and Wilfrid Nada, followed by Lian Ramiro, Archie Yu, and Raphael Mallari.
