COACH Yeng Guiao disclosed Filipino elite big man Kai Sotto has committed to play for Rain or Shine in the PBA.
"Ida-draft na namin siya. Wala ng chance yung ibang teams," declared Guiao on Sunday, as photos of the 7-foot-3 Sotto present at Elasto Painters practice was posted by the team in its social media.
Of course, the veteran coach was just trying to pull everybody's leg.
Sotto did show up in the Rain or Shine practice just to watch team training along with his Koshigaya Alphas coach Ryozu Anzai and father Ervin.
"Nandito kasi yung coach niya sa Pilipinas and gustong manood ng practice. Kaya pumunta sila sa practice namin sa Rain or Shine," said Guiao.
"Si Ervin naman kasi assistant coach ko dati sa NLEX."

According to Guiao, Sotto, his father, and Anzai will be watching the Philippine Cup games later at Ynares Center in Montalban.
