SAN Miguel has replaced its import after three games in the PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup.

The Beermen have activated 7-foot-1 Justin Patton to take the place of Marcus Lee starting on Tuesday when they face the Macau Black Knights at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium before the league takes a Holy Week break.

The Philippine Cup champions made the change after three games where the Beermen went 1-2 (win-loss) following losses to minnow Titan Ultra and Bol Bol-powered TNT, 118-92, just last Saturday.

A first-round pick at No. 16 overall by the Chicago Bulls in the 2017 NBA drafy, Patton played for the Minnesota Timberwolves from 2017 to 2018, Philadelphia 76ers from 2018 to 2019, and Oklahoma City Thunder in 2020 although he spent most of his career in the NBA teams' respective G League affiliate teams.
