JUSTIN Chua is set for a TNT homecoming.
The 6-foot-6 Chua is set to return to his former team after being at the center of a three-team trade that is awaiting approval at the PBA Commissioner’s Office.
Under the terms of the agreement, Chua will be initially dealt to Phoenix along with Paul Varilla for the duo of veterans Sean Anthony and Jake Pascual.

The Fuel Masters will then send Chua and Varilla to the Tropang Giga for Raul Soyud and Jjay Alejandro.
In addition. Phoenix is also going to receive two second round picks from NLEX (2023) and TNT.
Chua played for just a season with the telecommunication franchise in 2017 before being traded to Phoenix.
But this was the second trade in less than a year involving the former Ateneo slotman as the Road Warriors acquired him from the Fuel Masters in February of 2022 for Kris Porter.
For Sean Anthony, the trade also meant returning to the NLEX team where he spent two seasons playing from 2015 to 2017 until he was traded to NorthPort when coach Yeng Guiao took over the helm of the Road Warriors.
Soyud's long-standing affiliation with the MVP group also came to an end following the deal. The 32-year-old Negros Occidental native previously played for NLEX before being acquired by TNT.
Incidentally, all trades are the first major moves by coaches Frankie Lim of NLEX and Jojo Lastimosa of TNT, together with interim Phoenix mentor Jamike Jarin.
