BARANGAY Ginebra coach Tim Cone paid tribute to player agent Sheryl Reyes for changing the fortunes of the Kings by bringing in Justin Brownlee in the team.

Cone made the statement after Reyes passed away Thursday after a battle of uterine cancer. She was 39.

“Crushed to hear of the passing of Sheryl Reyes. She was so full of life and so young, its tough to imagine she’s gone,” wrote Cone on his Twitter account.

Cone also thanked Reyes for bringing in Brownlee, who first saw action for Ginebra in 2016 and has become the team’s resident import.

Brownlee led Ginebra to three titles including two straight Governors’ Cup crowns from 2016 to 2017 and the Commissioner’s Cup in 2018.

“She changed the fortunes of myself and the Ginebra team by bringing in our champion import. Forever grateful. She will be missed greatly,” wrote Cone.
