JUSTIN Brownlee suffered what appeared to be a dislocated his right thumb midway through the third quarter of Game 3 against TNT, forcing Barangay Ginebra to take out the prolific import on Wednesday night at the Philsports Arena.
The 35-year-old Brownlee suffered the injury to his shooting hand while trying to go for a loose ball off a fallen Calvin Oftana with the Tropang Giga slightly ahead, 59-58, with 6:42 to go.
WATCH:
Pain was written all over the face of the import as he walked back to the Ginebra bench, where he was attended to by the league doctor and the Kings’ staff.
Brownlee was later brought to the team dugout and was soon taken to the hospital in the early goings of the fourth quarter for further treatment.
WATCH:

The Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player already had 19 points, four rebounds, and six assists at the time of his exit and Ginebra would go on to lose, 87-85.
