IT took Converge two full quarters to finally take the measure of Barangay Ginebra and score a rousing 123-95 win in the PBA On Tour on Sunday night.
Justin Arana dominated in the paint with 30 points and 15 rebounds while Adrian Wong played his best game as a FiberXer with 26 as Converge won back-to-back games for a 5-4 record.
Wong was extra hot from beyond the arc where he shot 8-of-13
The Kings suffered a second straight loss while coach Tim Cone and star player Scottie Thompson watched from the sidelines of the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
The FiberXers scored 32 points in the third period to finally pull away for good, 84-69, after the Kings kept the game close in the first half.
Jeron Teng had an all-around game of 18 points,nine rebounds, and six assists for Converge, which plays NLEX and Northport for its final two outings.
Nards Pinto and Sidney Onwubere both had 19 points in a losing cause for Ginebra.
