“ANG haba niya, e.”
June Mar Fajardo uttered those words repeatedly as he was left in awe with the size and length of TNT import Bol Bol in their first ever match up in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
The 6-foot-10 Fajardo had his regular double-double numbers of 15 points and 20 rebounds, but Bol had the better production of 34 points and 18 rebounds in the 118-92 lopsided win Saturday night fashioned out before a huge Smart Araneta Coliseum crowd.

Despite his massive physique, the nine-time MVP admitted having a hard time guarding the 7-foot-3 Bol in the middle.
“Mabigat din. Tsaka mahaba, matangkad,” was how he described the son of former NBA player Manute Bol.
“Ang haba talaga,” added Fajardo with a big smile on his face.
But despite Bol’s physical advantage on him, Fajardo welcomed the competition with the celebrated import which he said is good for the PBA.
“Masaya kasi nag-i-enjoy yung mga tao. And maganda yun sa liga,” he said.
At the same time, Bol’s presence will not only improve the level of his own play but of the entire league as well.
“Hindi lang ako pero yung buong liga kasi mahaba talaga si Bol,” he added.
As for the 26-point blowout loss, Fajardo has only one thing to say.
“Bawi na lang sa susunod. Mahaba pa naman yung liga,” said the 35-year-old big man.
