JUNE Mar Fajardo sees the irony as the court invader calling upon voters to choose wisely faces charges.
"Hindi tuloy siya makakaboto," lamented the five-time PBA MVP on Sunday after San Miguel's 98-86 triumph over Magnolia.
The trespasser, who was identified as Paolo Felizarta, was holding placards and calling for everyone to "Vote Wisely!" and "Vote from the Heart!" when he entered the court in Game Five on Friday.
He was taken by authorities and held at Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 7, where he is expected to stay until Tuesday.
But Fajardo hopes that Felizarta gets released from the prison sooner.
"Sana makalabas na siya. Sana hindi naman kabigat yung ipaparusa sa kanya. Hopefully, makalabas siya agad," the soft-spoken Cebuano said.
The PBA, though, is still set to file charges of alarm and scandal and unjust vexation on Felizarta.
