JUNE Mar Fajardo took a huge step in his recovery from a leg injury as he stepped on the court for the first time in eight months this week.
While the rest of San Miguel returned to practice at the Angeles University Foundation gym in Clark, Pampanga, the SMB cornerstone continued his own comeback bid at the Acropolis gym in Quezon City, putting up some shots with the help of assistant coach Boycie Zamar and staff Andrew Bulahan.
The six-time MVP showed his progress from tibia surgery in his newest video on his Youtube channel AHOS gaming on Thursday, entitled “FINALLY!! Nakabalik na din sa court!”
“After eight long months nakabalik na din sa court. Slowly but surely lang,” Fajardo said. “Salamat sa lahat ng mga prayers nyo at suporta, naappreciate ko kayo ng husto!”
The 6-foot-10 Cebuano center took shots from seven perimeter spots – moving from left corner, wing, elbow, top of the key, to the right elbow, wing, and corner.
Moving away further, Fajardo did the same routine from beyond the arc as he flashed his three-point shooting accuracy.
What do you think of his shot?
