HE may take the flak in stride, but June Mar Fajardo still understandably feels some stress from critics who continue to question his latest injury in his calf that sidelined him for the first few games of Gilas Pilipinas in the recently concluded Fiba Asia Cup.
So to relieve himself from stress, the San Miguel Beer slotman usually seeks refuge from his family and supporters - and turns to online games to keep his mind off the bashing.
“Dami kong games eh,” Fajardo said with a smile in a chat with SPIN.ph after practice on Thursday. “Mga bagong labas, nilalalaro ko. 'Yun 'yung pampawala ko ng stress eh.”
“Mahilig ako sa games,” the 27-year-old Cebuano pride said.
A DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) addict who has also been seen playing smartphone game app Vainglory, Fajardo’s newest craze is Crusader of Light, a game he was seen playing after practice on Thursday while he was icing his knees following a walkthrough of their plays in practice.
“Nakakatuwa (yung bago kong laro),” Fajardo said with a chuckle.
But after some fun, Fajardo is bound to get serious again as he anchors SMB at the resumption of its grand slam bid in the Governors’ Cup on Friday night against GlobalPOrt.
