The reigning seven-time MVP has missed the Beermen's last four games, but now gives their bid for a twice-to-beat berth in the quarterfinals a major push.
The Beermen are currently in a tie with Barangay Ginebra for fourth place with a 6-3 win-loss record. The top four teams at the end of the preliminary phase will have twice-to-beat advantage in the knockout quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, Vic Manuel has also been elevated from the unrestricted free agent with rights to salaries list to the injured/reserve list.
