JUAN Gomez de Liaño has signed a three-year deal with Converge, proof that the FiberXers are serious in their quest to win their first championship in the PBA.
Gomez de Liaño signed the contract in the presence of Converge coach and Pampanga vice governor Dennis 'Delta' Pineda and Strong Group Athletics' Frank Lao.
Gomez de Liaño's agent Marvin Espiritu was also present in the signing.
"He is happy with his contract," said Espiritu.
Juan GDL showed up for Converge's tune-up game against Rain or Shine on Saturday at the Gatorade Hoops Center on the same day of the contract signing.

The presence of the Converge bigwigs in contract signing is a reflection of Gomez de Liaño being a big part of the team's plans for the future.
Gomez de Liaño was selected at No. 2 pick in the PBA 50th Season draft after stints overseas in Japan, Lithuania, and Korea, joining the FiberXers' core of Justine Baltazar, Justin Arana, Alec Stockton, and Schonny Winston.
