The Dyip have found cornerstone in Tiongson, who has been with the ballclub for three years and opted to stay after becoming an unrestricted free agent.
Despite the team’s struggles that included a 25-game losing streak in 2022, Tiongson has opted to remain with the team that gave him the biggest break of his PBA career.

Seldom used in his previous teams Blackwater and NLEX, the former Ateneo cager tallied his best numbers with Terrafirma.
The 31-year-old Tiongson averaged 16.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.4 assists during the Commissioner’s Cup. He was also solid during the Philippine Cup where he posted numbers of 13.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists.
