BE it at NorthPort, Pureblends, or any other team, Joshua Munzon says he’s just ready to do what he’s asked for.
“For me personally, I’m just ready to play basketball whatever happens out there. I don’t have a say on anything (sale). My priority is basketball and I’ll just continue to do my job out there,” he stressed.

Munzon is one of the key players expected to be absorbed by Pureblends Corp. when it officially takes over the NorthPort franchise.
The former No. 1 overall draft pick played an integral role in the Batang Pier’s last run to the semifinals where they ended up being the top-seeded team heading to the playoffs.
After his finest season yet, Munzon, 30, found himself in the running for a place in the Mythical selection and in the All-Defensive team in the coming Season 49 Leo Awards.
And he hopes to pick up from where he left off last season whether it's with Northport or Pureblends that he’ll be playing for.
“At the end of the day, were just doing our jobs. That’s what we’re paid for, and that’s to go out there and compete,” said Munzon.
Despite the impending changes, Munzon said the atmosphere remains upbeat for this bunch of guys who are about to shed their Batang Pier moniker anytime soon.
“We know there’s going to be changes. But we’re optimistic,” he said. “All of us are just ready to play.”
