JOSHUA Munzon confirmed that he has already signed a new three-year with Titan Ultra.
“I’ll be here for the next couple of years for sure,” said Munzon on Sunday after the Giant Risers’ 152-119 loss to Converge in the PBA 50th Season Governors’ Cup.
“The deal is worth three years,” Munzon added.
Munzon’s previous contract will lapse at the end of Season 50, but the new contract ensures that he will be with the Giant Risers until 2029.

Munzon found himself on the trading block late in his old contract, with a move to TNT in exchange of a future first-round pick and Joe Celzo nearly materializing.
In the end, Munzon is staying for the long term with the Giant Risers.
“I’m happy. I’m happy we work it out and get on the same page. I’m ready to give my best effort moving forward,” Munzon said.
On Sunday, Munzon had 22 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the loss that eliminated Titan Ultra from quarterfinal contention this conference.
With two games left, Munzon said they will go all out for the best finish possible, as they also adjust to the system of interim head coach Raymond Valenzona.
“Do the best we can, try not to get injured, and learn the new system. Still trying to learn that and just try and build moving on for next year,” said Munzon.
