ANTIPOLO – The entire San Miguel Beer coaching staff stayed behind for a post-game meeting in light of the team’s stunning 104-99 loss to NLEX in Sunday night’s PBA Commissioner’s Cup game at the Ynares Center.

Coach Jorge Gallent and his battery of deputies composed of Ato Agustin, Peter Martin, Boycie Zamar, Biboy Ravanes, and Dayong Mendoza along with consultant Leo Austria came out of the dugout an hour after the end of the game and long after the players and team staff had left the venue.

SMB team governor Robert Non and team manager Gee Abanilla also went ahead earlier and left the coaching staff behind.

Gallent later begged off from a post-game talk, sweet-talking the waiting members of the media by telling them to take care going home.

Truly, the loss was a disaster for the reigning champion, which led NLEX by as many as 65-46 during the third period and appeared poise of notching a second straight win.
