REGARDLESS if he plays for Jordan as a naturalized player or not in the coming FIBA World Cup, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will be back for another tour of duty with TNT.

TNT coach Jojo Lastimosa said the former NBA player will again be reinforcing the Tropang Giga in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup and the home-and-away season of the EASL (East Asia Super League).

“I already signed Rondae,” said the PBA great turned champion coach in a short message.

The 28-year-old Hollis-Jefferson helped TNT dethrone Barangay Ginebra as Governors’ Cup champion last summer, beating the Kings in six games to claim the season-ending title.

He was also named Best Import of the Conference after averaging 30.4 points, 13.3 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 2.1 steals in 16 games as a replacement for the high-scoring Jalen Hudson.

The signing of Hollis-Jefferson comes amid the decision of the Jordan Basketball Federation to tap the University of Arizona product as a naturalized player for the coming FIBA World Cup.

The TNT import joined the Jordan national team in its training camp in Lithuania, but didn’t play.

He finally saw action in the Portugal Cup against Ivory Coast and the Czech Republic, while he sat on the bench in Jordan’s opening game against the host which it lost, 75-70.

The TNT import finished with nine points and six rebounds in a 74-71 win over Ivory Coast, and had 18 and eight rebounds in a close 80-79 loss against the Czech Republic.
