CONVERGE lost no time in signing new acquisition Jordan Heading to his first-ever PBA contract.

The Fil-Aussie gunner agreed on a two-year deal reportedly worth the maximum allowed by the league on a rookie as per sources by SPIN.ph.

As the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 special Gilas draft, Heading is entitled to receive the maximum first year salary of P200,000 a month or P2.4 million a year.

A salary increase of 50 percent is also allowed on the second year as per PBA rules, but depends on the negotiations Heading’s group had with the Converge management.

Heading was with his representative Marvin Espiritu of the Espiritu Manotoc Basketball Management (EMBM) during the contract signing along with Converge team governor Archen Cayabyab and alternate governor CK Kanapi.

The former Gilas Pilipinas shooting guard has been practicing with the FiberXers long before he was acquired last week in a trade with Terrafirma for the duo of Aljun Melecio, Keith Zaldivar, and Converge's first-round pick in the league’s Season 51 rookie draft.
