ANTIPOLO City – Former Gilas Pilipinas pool member Jordan Heading was an interested spectator in the opener of the PBA Governors’ Cup Finals between Barangay Ginebra and TNT on Sunday night.
The 28-year-old Fil-Aussie went unnoticed for the entire Game One of the series until after he was on his way out of the Ynares Center coming from the the Tropang Giga's side of the tunnel.
Heading said he just watched the game since there are players from both sides who are known to the shooting guard, the first overall pick of Terrafirma during the 2020 special Gilas draft.

The 6-foot-2 shooting guard said he arrived in the country a couple of weeks now and has not signed with any team since last playing for Strong Group Athletics in the last Jones Cup which the Philippine side won.
Of course, Heading expressed his interest in playing in the PBA, but refused to say whether there are ongoing talks about him finally playing in Asia’s oldest professional league.
“Hopefully, I can work on something now. Yeah, it’s a great league. I love to play here, so let’s see what happens,” said Heading.

He added, “There are some talks here and there. But Terrafirma has my rights, so we’ll leave it at that.”
But Heading was thrilled seeing the Tropang Giga and Kings duke each other out before the biggest crowd ever to watch a PBA game at the Antipolo playing venue.
“It was a great game, great atmosphere. Really high level of basketball that’s good to see,” he added.
