JORDAN Heading's TNT debut could come in a marquee match-up for the Tropang 5G.
There's a chance that the new TNT boy suits up on Sunday when the Tropang 5G play Barangay Ginebra in a finals rematch of the two previous conferences.
But TNT team manager Jojo Lastimosa said the ballclub is taking a cautious approach on Heading as he continues to heal from the back spasms he sustained during his recent campaign with Converge.

Lastimosa is already ruling out the 29-year-old Heading for Friday’s game against Blackwater due to the injury and the fact that he only practiced with the team on Wednesday.

Before the trade, Heading has been ramping up his work at Converge with non-contact activities.
“Not Friday,” said Lastimosa, when asked if Heading could be making his TNT debut against Blackwater on Friday.”
“Sunday vs. Ginebra is probably but we might be a bit conservative in our approach because it was his first contact practice today in months,” said Lastimosa.
Heading reported to TNT practice on Wednesday, two days after it became official that he is now part of the Tropang 5G. Heading was traded by Converge to TNT in exchange of Mikey Williams.
Lastimosa said Heading is continuing his rehabilitation from the back injury, with the aim of TNT is for the lefty shooter to play without any pain.
“Continue to do rehab and I believe that’s how it should be for him to remain pain-free even if he is back playing,” said Lastimosa.
Coming into the weekend games, TNT is looking to stretch its winning streak to six games in the Blackwater game on Friday to be held at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium before preparing for Barangay Ginebra for just one day.
