JORDAN Heading is hopeful that he can play in TNT’s next game in the PBA Governors' Cup despite sustaining a shoulder injury on Tuesday.
Heading left the game after he felt pain in his left shoulder following a lay-up at the 4:33-mark of the third quarter. He never returned.

Heading was set to undergo an MRI on Tuesday shortly after the game, but even before the routine check, he expressed confidence that nothing is serious and can play for TNT's next outing against San Miguel on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
“A lot of pain (right) now, I can’t really like lift my shoulders on my shooting arm too high,” Heading said after the game. “We’ll get an MRI tonight.
“Not dislocated so it’s a good thing. Hopefully, it’s not bad,” Heading said.
Heading’s night ended prematurely, but he still scored 20 points in TNT’s 110-107 win over Converge, the second straight time Heading made 20 or more this conference.
Compounding the woes of TNT was RR Pogoy going down with a hyperextended knee. He was also scheduled to undergo an MRI on Tuesday night.
A consolation for Heading is that his teammates were able to step up led by Rey Nambatac, who knocked down the game-winning three at the buzzer to break the hearts of Converge.
“As we saw tonight, we have guys that are very, very capable of stepping up in some guy’s absences. Even with the injuries, it was really an awesome night for us,” Heading said.
“I love it, we love to see this Rey Nambatac. Finals MVP type of guy. Just to see him hit back-to-back threes, it was incredible,” Heading added.
