WHILE he is not yet officially a Tropang 5G, Jordan Heading is looking forward to contend for championships with TNT after being traded by Converge.
The Tropang 5G and the FiberXers though are still waiting for the approval by the PBA Commissioner’s Office of a one-on-one exchange between Heading and Mikey Williams that the two clubs have agreed on Wednesday.

“It’s exciting to go to a club with so much history, and a club with a lot of class as well,” said Heading.
With the trade not yet a done deal from the Commissioner's Office side and him not yet healthy, Heading will not be suiting up for TNT in Friday's game against NorthPort.
With TNT gunning for a championship and a rare Grand Slam in the PBA Philippine Cup, the 6-foot-2 Heading is already motivated to get himself healthy as he is still dealing with back spasms.
Incidentally, TNT also has injured players led by Jayson Castro, who has been out since the Commissioner’s Cup semifinals due to a patellar tendon tear in his right knee.
The latest player who got hurt for the Tropang 5G was Commissioner’s Cup Finals MVP Rey Nambatac, who has a pulled groin and will most likely return to the team come playoff time.
Heading is excited to begin a new chapter in his career.
“Obviously, they’ve proven that they can win championships. Obviously, having won back-to-back conferences, this third conference, obviously, bodies are starting to wear thin and guys, respectively, obviously, they are tired,” said Heading, who was a candidate for Best Player of the Conference in the Commissioner's Cup after averaging 17.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists for the FiberXers.
