CHRIS McCullough and Terrence Jones' services for their respective teams go beyond the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup as San Miguel and TNT are two of the three Philippine teams seeing action in the East Asia Super League Terrific 12 in September.
The Beermen and the KaTropa join Blackwater Elite as the country's representatives in the invitational tournament, where they will test their mettle against some of the best clubs in China, Korea, and Japan this September.
It will be a rare chance for PBA teams to mix it up against top teams of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), the Korean Basketball League (KBL), and the Japanese B.League as the pro league explores international club competitions.
San Miguel is slotted in Group B where it will face last year's Terrific 12 champion Ryukyu Golden Kings of Japan and the Shenzhen Aviators of China.
TNT, meanwhile, is in Group D and will meet CBA semifinalist Liaoning Flying Leopards, and Niigata Albirex Basketball of Japan.
Blackwater is placed in Group A, where it will clash against B.League runner-up Chiba Jets and Seoul SK Knights of Korea.
Completing the list of participating teams are B.League bridesmaid Utsunomiya Brex, Zhejiang Guangsha Lions of China, and Jeonju KCC Egis of Korea, who will make up Group C.
Games will be held at Tap Seac Multi-sports Pavillion in Macau from September 17 to 22.
This won't be the first time that the Philippines has sent representatives in these Macau tilts.
Blackwater and NLEX saw action in last year's Super 8, an all-local tourney, while the Ariel Vanguardia-coached IECO Green Warriors suited up for the import-laced Terrific 12, leaning on reinforcements Tiras Wade and Sam Logwood as well as locals Joshua Munzon and Gab Banal.
