Egbunu will team up with fellow imports Glynn Watson and Jordon Vardano and help the Bolts in the highest level club competition for basketball in the region.
Team manager Paolo Trillo said Vardano and Watson already practiced with the Bolts prior to the departure of the team on Thursday.
“Si Egbunu will meet us in Dubai. He will go straight there,” he said.

Comprising Meralco’s local roster are Gilas Pilipinas stalwart Chris Newsome, Bong Quinto, Cliff Hodge, Raymond Almazan, Aaron Black, Chris Banchero, Norbert Torres, Alvin Pasaol, and rookie CJ Cansino.
The final submission of all lineups to FIBA was on Tuesday.
Meralco is bracketed in Group B alongside newly-crowned B. League champion Utsunomiya Brex and last year’s BCL Asia runner-up Shabab Al Ahli.
The Bolts will have a game on opening day Saturday against Shabab Al Ahli.
