JOHN Amores and his brother have been released from detention in Lumban, Laguna after posting bail on Friday, according to multiple reports.
Amores posted a bail of P24,000, while his brother P10,000 after he spent time in jail for a shooting incident in Lumba, Laguna.

The Amores brothers though are still facing a charge of attempted homicide, with the case filed at the Lumban-Kalayaan Municipal Circuit Trial Court by Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Maria Victoria Cayaba.
In a report by ABS-CBN's Jeff Caparas, the arraignment and pre-trial is slated on December 4.
Amores and his brother are still facing jail time if he is proven guilty of committing attempted homicide after shooting an individual in Barangay Maytalang Uno in Lumban, Laguna.
The incident occurred after a heated argument between Amores and an individual in nearby Barangay Salac in a pick-up game with a P4,000 bet.
Amores’ brother was also charged as he was the driver of the motorcycle that the PBA player rode before the shooting.
