JETT Manuel is hanging up his sneakers in the PBA for good.
The charismatic guard out of the University of the Philippines has chosen to end a brief PBA career that saw him become part of Ginebra's champion squad in the 2018 Commissioner's Cup but hardly got a taste of court action.
Manuel was picked 12th overall by the Kings in the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft after he set the foundation for University of the Philippines' renaissance in the UAAP in his final collegiate years.
He was subsequently signed to a one-year rookie contract by Ginebra.

However, the 26-year-old only played sparingly in his only season in the PBA, mostly used when the games were already beyond doubt.
Manuel later confirmed his decision in an Instagram post:
The former Maroons star hasn't bared his plan for the future, but that doesn't figure to be a problem for the licensed engineer who has also dabbled in TV work commentating on NCAA games last season.
He also hasn't ruled out playing in smaller leagues.
