JERRICK Ahanmisi officially boarded the Terrafirma Dyip on Thursday.
The fifth-year shooting guard came to terms with team management after weeks of waiting on whether he’ll suit up or not for the franchise that acquired him from Magnolia in a trade for the signing rights to Javi Gomez de Liano.
Ahanmisi signed a one-season deal, just three days before the PBA opens its 50th season with the first conference offering Philippine Cup.
The shooting guard out of Adamson signed the contract in the presence of representative Danny Espiritu and team manager Waiyip Chong representing Terrafirma.
Ahanmisi will be the 14th man in the Dyip roster of coach Ronald Tubid.
The younger brother of Ginebra's Maverick Ahanmisi was sent by Magnolia to Terrafirma for the rights to Javi Gomez De Liano
But Ahanmisi didn't land a roster spot until he finally signed on the dotted line as his previous deal with Magnolia already expired.
At Magnolia though, he is one of the top four-point shooters of the team and the league as well behind a 38.9 percent shooting.
