ALASKA is set to get a much-needed shot in the arm as Jeron Teng is scheduled to return on Sunday in the game against Rain or Shine.

Jeron’s mother Susan Teng confirmed that his son will be suiting up for his first game in the Governors’ Cup against the Elastopainters at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Susan Teng said Jeron has already made a full recovery after sustaining a hamstring injury that required two weeks of rest.

Teng averaged 9.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists for the Aces in the Commissioner’s Cup.

Jeron’s return is expected to be a boost for the Aces, who are still looking for their first win in the conference under new head coach Jeff Cariaso.

Without Teng and fellow injured players in Kevin Racal and Maverick Ahanmisi, the Aces have lost five games including a 95-90 defeat to Magnolia last Sunday in a rematch between last year’s Governors’ Cup finalists.
