JERON Teng thanked his family, friends, and fans for the prayers and support after being released from hospital, five days after suffering multiple stab wounds in a parking lot brawl in Bonifacio Global City.

The Alaska rookie took to social media for the first time since the melee on Sunday morning that also led to injuries to former La Salle teammates Norbert and Thomas Torres, posting on Twitter a photo of him being treated at St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig City.

"First of all, I would like to thank my family, friends and supporters for all the prayers. Last June 3, I suffered from multiple stabs wounds and deep lacerations which could have been fatal," the former UAAP champion out of La Salle said on his official Twitter page @jeronteng.

"As of present I am now recovering at home and being closely monitored by my family and doctors. The time that I’m going to be back inside the court is still uncertain. For now, I am focusing on my recovery with the help of my family and friends. Thank you Lord."
