JERICHO Cruz can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
All parties involved in the long-delayed trade centered around the gung-ho guard have already signed the papers to be sent to the PBA Commissioner's Office for approval.
NorthPort signing the dotted line on Wednesday signalled the green light for the trade to be consummated along with NLEX and TnT Katropa.
Although terms are still sketchy, the deal will have Cruz finally leaving TnT and landing at NLEX.
Also part of the trade is NLEX big man Marion Magat, TnT bruiser Mike Miranda, and a two future draft picks.
If it pushes through, the 28-year-old Cruz will be reunited with NLEX coach Yeng Guiao, who picked up the former Adamson standout a first round pick in the 2014 draft while still with Rain or Shine.
The two would win a championship together during the 2016 PBA Commissioner's Cup before parting ways at the end of the season following the departure of Guiao to NLEX.
Cruz meanwhile was traded by Rain or Shine to TnT for Sidney Onwubere, Kris Rosales, and a 2018 first round pick which the Elasto Painters used to draft Javee Mocon.
