JERICHO Cruz will remain a Beerman.
Despite an early exit in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup, San Miguel is bringing back the hard-nosed guard for another tour of duty.
The 34-year-old Cruz was signed to a two-year extension by the franchise where he won two PBA championships since being acquired as an unrestricted free agent three years ago.

Instead of heading elsewhere as a UFA, Cruz posted a photo on his Facebook account while signing his new contract at the San Miguel headquarters in Ortigas Center, Pasig.
“Grateful and blessed,” said Cruz in his caption accompanied by a praying emoji. “Another chance to work harder. Coming back stronger next conference.”

He later gave thanks to San Miguel President and CEO Ramon S. Ang, team governor Robert Non, and SMC sports director Alfrancis Chua.
Cruz was likewise grateful to his representative and godfather Danny Espiritu.
