JERICHO Cruz will miss four to six weeks with a fractured finger, according to TNT team manager Virgil Villavicencio.
Villavicencio said Cruz sustained a fracture in his fourth metacarpal in his right hand during Game One of the Commissioner’s Cup finals against San Miguel on Monday.
Cruz’s finger caught the uniform of San Miguel cager Marcio Lassiter during a play.
Doctors said the injury usually heals between four to six weeks, according to Villavicencio. Cruz is wearing a cast to protect the injury.
Cruz will miss the remainder of the Commissioner’s Cup. TNT is looking to extend the best-of-three quarterfinal series against San Miguel on Wednesday night.
