JERICHO Cruz is digging the new bounce in his step thanks to the adidas Crazy Explosive shoes recently released in the Philippines.
The Crazy Explosive is adidas’ newest model in its basketball shoe lineup and the brand’s first full-length boost mid-top shoe is the signature sneaker of Minnesota Timberwolves star Andrew Wiggins. The Crazy Explosive ‘Solar Red’ is already available in Titan and NBA Store for P8,795, and Cruz was one of the first to wear the new shoe in the country during his debut in the PBA All-Star game.
What stood out in the Rain or Shine cager’s experience with the Crazy Explosive is the comfort the shoe gives him, and more importantly, the unique and striking design.
“Wala pa rito nun. Gusto ko kakaiba ‘yung sapatos ko,” said Cruz, when asked why he decided to choose the Crazy Explosive as his shoe.
The Crazy Explosive, which was featured in a Titan Trial Run last week, boasts of several features aside from the heel-to-toe Boost, like a Primeknit upper for breathability, fit and durability. It also has an ‘Energy Enhancing Roll Cage,’ a lateral TPU roll cage for forefront stability. Plus, its new traction pattern based on reaction-diffusion adds grip and lockdown with each stable.
More than enjoying the shoe and its features, Cruz said he is thankful for being named as one of the endorsers of adidas ever since his rookie year with the Elasto Painters.
“Endorser ako ng adidas since last year when I got in the PBA. Sila ‘yung unang lumapit sa akin. God gave me this opportunity to wear it, which I’m really happy and blessed at the same time na ako ‘yung unang nakagamit sa mga players out here,” said Cruz.
