JEREMIAH Gray appeared to be fine after hurting his knee in Barangay Ginebra’s PBA Philippine Cup debut against Terrafirma on Wednesday night.
Nonetheless, he’s taking nothing to chance and will still see renowned orthopedic Dr. Randy Molo for further checkup and precautionary measure.

“Yeah, I’m walking just fine. I did some exercise in the locker room and everything was OK,” said Gray as he quietly left the Ginebra locker room at the Smart Araneta Coliseum following the 101-80 blowout win.
“A little bit of tightness, but nothing to restrict my range and motion.”
The 6-foot-6 Fil-Am guard tweaked his right knee while trying to elude his defender in the final two minutes of the first half and Ginebra up by 16.
Gray was seen limping and being helped by coach Tim Cone as he walked his way to the Ginebra bench after a timeout.
He later proceeded to the dugout a bit emotional after suffering yet another knee injury.
But Gray later came back and joined the rest of the Kings on the bench, his leg heavily wrapped up in a black bandage.

The coaching staff never fielded him back as he finished the game with six points, five rebounds, and two assists, while playing as part of the starting unit of Cone.
“He came back on to the bench. So that was a good sign that maybe it wasn’t bad as we thought it was,” said the Ginebra coach.
Gray, who just came back from a 19-month layoff last conference after undergoing a second ACL injury, admitted getting a little bit worried shortly after the incident.
“I think it was just an initial shock of just feeling my leg not really under me. It scared me a bit, kind of overreacted,” he said.
“That kind of happen to me before when I tweaked it a little bit. I was just sore for a couple of days and then I was fine.”
Hopefully, it will be the same again this time.
