TROPANG TNT gets a boost from its franchise player when it squares off against Rain or Shine on Monday in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Jayson Castro is expected to make his return after being sidelined in the Texters’ 85-80 win over NLEX last Sunday to rest a recurring Achilles injury.
“He will be ready to play,” Texters coach Jong Uichico said in a text message to Spin.ph ahead of the 7 p.m. matchup where the defending champions seek to improve their 3-4 win-loss record.
Castro reinjured his Achilles after taking a wrong step and limping on his way back to the bench late in their loss to Star two weeks ago.
